Valhalla

Valhalla

NEVER EVER try to fish at the "pond" that you can see from 55. In fact I think it is safe to say that no one should ever fish in a pond that is w/in 20ft of a highway and less then that in circumferance. I felt like I was fishing into a puddle of goose poop and two tailed fish. It smelled bad, looked worse and was very dissapointing. Luckily I didn't catch anything. I was not looking forward to handling a mutant. Lesson learned. I guess I'll try lake springfield again.

Jobless

For some reason it looks like I misspelled jobless. None the less, that is what I am. I still do not know for sure if I will be offered the job I interviewed for about a month ago. Sounds hopeful but will not know until later today or sometime next week, or sometime between now and the weekend of July 11th. In the mean time I am going to buy a decent fishing pole My $11 Wal-Mart pole from high school has cast it's last...cast-unless someone actually buys it from goodwill. I am going to Dick's w/ my bro. in law to pick out the sole instrument for my plan "B". If the job in Woodridge falls through I’m going to open a "fish shack and more" in Kohl's parking lot. I know that lake has plenty of good eaten to offer.

Uncle Rico

Ok...So I saw this picture up at work a while ago and thought it resembled a one of the greatest QB's this side of New England and was dying to get a photo copy of it but I was too chicken. Well, I happened to have my camera on me the last day of work so I took a picture of the picture to share with you all :)

Air Show

Five More Days

Well this weekend in between the laborous hours in the library ;) I squeezed in a couple air shows. Saturday I went to my first Springfield Air Rendevoux (?SP?). It was awesome. I got over 50 great shots and some video on my camera of the Harrier plane that hovers like a helicopter, some WWII planes, and the blue angels. They were so outstanding that later that night I decided they were too good to share-I accidently deleted them all =( major sad face. I was determined to come away with at least a couple pictures of planes. So yesturday I went back to the show as it ended and got some of the planes that they had not towed back to the hanger yet. Minor recovery to say the least but I will cherish the memories...until they are washed away by this weekends celebration. I will post the 2nd day's pictures shortly.
