Ok You've been smothered with pictures but I WILL have to get these up soon. Another thing that happened while at my grandparent's house the other weekend was my mom drove my cousin's 4 wheeler!! Ranks up there with the time we got her to say "Nasty-Freak". (You had to be there)

Tomorrow is my last day working at a summer camp EVER (never say..ever) I successfully avoided having to work on the day they make the treck to adventure village-both years I worked there. It's hard enough getting those kids from the playground to the pool I am glad to miss it! I am not glad however, about not getting a paycheck from my last few weeks experience for another good 2 weeks!

My new supervisor sent me an email instructing me to sign up for a conference w/ the USEPA. Getting more nervous by the day.

I am all for saving the environment but geez! Warning! this is pretty gross. A friend of mine informed me of a girl she knows that is so Earth conscious that she has started using home-made tampons. Whats more, they are re-useable!

Ick. I think recycling my cans and #'s 1 and 2 plastics will be sufficient.

news

Things that have happened since the last blog:

1. I got a job-well technically my wish of being an eternal intern is taking form. I will be under the title of Grant Administration Intern for three months starting in July for the company I interviewed for a couple months ago. Pays well, good experience, and at the end of 3 months I either have a job with them or they said they'd help me find one. And in the meantime I am back at the Nelson center for a couple weeks so I can actually afford that first month's rent. =)

2. I went on vacation-mom, dad, sister, bro-in law, and one yr. old nephew drove down to Orange beach alabama. We normally stay up the road in Gulf Shores Ala. but it was destroyed by one of the hurricanes last year and from the looks of it will be attacked by hurricane arlene shortly. :0

3. I went deep sea fishing and caught a delicious red snapper. Let me just say, that it was so heavy, my fore-arms were sore the next morning. We (Doug) also caught a bunch of vermillion snappers. ;)

4. This was my nephew's first vacation-and although he had a great time at all the restaurants, the gas stations, on the beach, and in the pool, I don't think he felt the 28 total hours in his car seat were worth it. Also, he choked on a piece of food and stopped breathing for a few seconds. My mom had to give him baby heimlich and I had just dialed 9-1- when he finally let out a scream. Very scary =(

5. I had to go to class an hour after we got back and have to go back tomorrow and Sunday. After this weekend I have only one more weekend class (july 8th-10th) and then I am really for REAL graduated and DONE.

I think that is most of it. I will put pictures including graduation and the HUGE snapper up later.
