Deb Print Out Your FarmAid Ticket From the Email I Sent You

So this sat. there is a work picnic and for some reason I decided to enter the bake off. I've been craving those Oatmeal No-Bake cookies on and off for about 3 years now (my mom never makes them). So I decided to make those. The recipe called for "Quick Oats" so that's what I got but for some reason they were still pretty chewy. Maybe after they sit for a day they will be better...:S I don't think I'm going to win the bake off. But f it's really hot out sat. I might win for "most resembles a turd".

I think I have strep throat and I REALLY wish I would've gone to prompt care earlier this week to get meds. cause now that it's the weekend I'm not going to stay at home and go to bed by nine like I've done all week. Tomorrow night I think we (Jenny, Erin, and maybe Bake) are going to Naperville-today at a meeting I went to somebody brought up that 3 people in the last 3 months at the same intersection have been killed by drunk drivers. Then today I heard this REALLY long commercial about drunk driving. It had a cop telling the person "you're going to jail" it was reallly scary. I think this is enough of a sign for me to insist on a cab no matter what-even if signs don't exist mandy. =) Then Sun. I'm either going to a triathalon to cheer someone on or the museum of science and industry to see this exhibit w/ human body parts EEEW! But people said it was neat. Or I'll probably try to squeeze them both in since I think the race is near the museum. Hopefully I'll have better luck w/ the train. Oh I washed the train pass I just bought last week in my shorts pocket $28 down the crapper.

Ummm what else. Oh I had a really great night of driving around about an hour out of my way. First on my way back from a mall (I got a couple hats from Lids Deb-I can't screw it up this time, there are only two Lids w/in 40 mins of me!! Luckily both the hats fit like a baseball glove so I won't have any returns ;) So I was on the right road on the way home and if I would've stayed on it I would've been back home w/in 10 mins. but then I saw a road that I had to get on on the way there so I thought "hmm, I better retrace my steps" and I got on it. It wasn't till about 10 miles later when I realized I was going the wrong way. I had to turn around then get back to the original correct road. Then I missed my exit cause I was in the far right lane and the road split cause of construction and I couldn't get over. So I had to go past woodridge and take the Joliet exit. By this time I was tired of turning around so I just went thru Jo. and bolingbrook and finally got to the meijer by my house-I had to get the quick oats and coco. By the time I got there my bladder was about to explode like a pinata. (i've been drinking water like it's beer hoping to get better) I run right past the bathrooms across the back of the store where they usually are, ask the door greeter where they are, he points to the other side of the store where I came in at, says something in Indian/English so I head back don't see them ask ANOTHER guy he finally tells me they are thru the exit where I ran in! GEEEZZ. I'm really hoping I'll eventually get the hang of where everything is!! Shit!!!
