BaccaSexy
Ok, per Becca's request and me being bored cause I can't go anywhere due to the 6inches of snow on the ground, I decided to give a truly valuable answer to the question, "who the hell is chewbacca anyway?"
Chewbacca (or Chewie) (c. 200 BBY - c. 25 ABY), a fictional character of the Star Wars universe, is 2.3 m (7.5 ft) tall Wookiee and co-pilot of Han Solo's ship, the Millennium Falcon. Chewbacca is the son of Attichitcuk, the husband of Mallatobuck, and the father of Lumpawarrump.
Wise and sophisticated, he has a great deal of technological savvy. Chewbacca is known for his great strength and loyalty. While Chewie is perfectly able to understand the galactic-standard language Basic, he is unable to speak it due to his species' vocal structure. He communicates in his native language, Shyriiwook, while Solo always speaks to Chewie in Basic. Chewbacca was played by actor Peter Mayhew in the Star Wars movies.
Chewbacca undertook a Wookiee "life debt" to Han Solo due to Solo saving his life at some point before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In the Expanded Universe comic book entitled simply Chewbacca, Imperial Navy Officer Han Solo was ordered to destroy a drifting shuttle full of Wookiee Slaves, including Chewbacca. Solo refused to do so, and set the Wookiees free. Solo was discharged from the Imperial Navy for this act. Chewbacca tracked down Solo and from the time Solo saved his life, up to Chewbacca's death on the planet of Sernpidal, the two were nearly inseparable.
Initially, Princess Leia did not like Chewbacca, calling him a "walking carpet." But eventually she almost became as close a friend to Chewbacca as Han Solo (mirroring Han's own initial resistance to Chewbacca's loyalty, which was also replaced by a deep and abiding friendship). Chewbacca was very close to Han and Leia's children, becoming an uncle of sorts to the three children.
OK Maybe I went a little over-board, or maybe just enough-board. Maybe this will provide you w/ a little late night drunk reading material Deb. Can't wait for tomorrow night! Yay no school till....when do you have to go back?

chewbacca is a canadian
My friend Mikee has an affinity for canadians and it has slipped my mind to tell him that I BELIEVE chewbacca is a natural born canadian
Ok I can't recall if I've officially thanked Becca for her letter SOOO...
BACCA: Thanks for the letter it was great and made me laugh. I enjoyed every second and every cosmo clipping. I will have to make those delicious sounding ham and cheese sandwhiches when I have the time.
I guess not many people buy cosmo for the recipes ;) And thanks for the offer of being your new year's date. I need a glamour shot incase anyone doesn't purely believe my words and needs proof since you won't actually be up here to celebrate w/ me.
Thanks for the quote, you need to revist your quote of the week spot on my blog page every once in a while.
And as always, if I could save time in a bottle the first thing that I'd like to do is to save everyday till eternity passes away just to spend them with you if I could make days last forever if words could make wishes come true I'd save every day like a treasure and then again I would spend them with you but there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you find them I've looked around enough to know you're the one I want to go through time w/ (short instrumental break) If I had a box just for wishes and dreams that had never come true the box would be empty except for the memory of how they were answered by you but there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you find them I've looked around enough to know you're the one I want to go through time w/ (instrumental ending)~I think the writer had to be canadian.

oh tanenbaum
Last night I had some people come over help me make decorations. They work for food if anyone needs some good pipe cleaner or construction paper ornament makers. The tree looks very fun. I'll put a pic up later. I couldn't find a tree skirt I liked, so am considering just leaving the thin layer of needles that fell off of the tree into a neatly formed circle, where they are. They almost provides the illusion of a tree skirt. Now all I need are a few presents to wrap and put under. I haven't had anytime yet to go out and get ideas. I don't really know what I'm going to get anyone but I guess there isn't a whole lot I need to get so it should be fine. We watched Elf last night too. "Good bye Buddy, hope you find you're dad" ;)
Sat. night a bunch of people from highschool came up so we just ate/drank and played games at Jenny's apt. It was fun. Found another person that lives w/in a half hour of me! Fri I went to improv-olympics. It was very fun. Made me want to play it myself.
