Am I drinking the 10% ammonia or 5% pollutants?
I was reading a forward at work the other day about a press release that discussed the awards given to two IL water treatment facilities. One was in Rushville-Go Big Gold! Home of T.R. The other was in Wheaton-a town up around here-Christian's Rock The House That Rocks The Party!
Well that's great, I thought, IL has two outstanding water treatment plants out of the 6 nationwide that were given these awards. Until I read the basis of the awards. Rushville was awarded for consistantly removing an ave. 95% of pollutants from incoming wastewater. And Wheaton was awarded for for consistently removing 99 percent of chemicals and 90 percent of ammonia from incoming wastewater. Ok you tell me that 10% of the ammonia that remains is actually good for you, keeps the water clean or some such s#!t and I'll believe you, but if these places are being rewarded for leaving 5% of micellaneous "pollutants", chemicals and ammonia-WHAT DO THE STAT BOARDS OF THE LOSING PARTICIPANTS OF THIS AWARD LOOK LIKE?
If any of you are interested in moving up here-maybe to Wheaton-and think you could really enjoy one of the following job positions let me know.
1.) Director of Information Technology (IT)
2.) Project Account Administrator (Accounting)
3.) Receptionist (Both Woodridge and Colorado)
4.) Land Development Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Design Technicians ( in both Woodridge and Colorado)
5.) Administrative Assistant / Construction Contract Administrator (Elgin Field Office)
If I refer someone and the keep the job for 6mths I get $1500! That's no wastewater reward but it's something.

Becca: I enjoyed your depiction-or interpretation-of what was in the pic. next to me. Unfortunately it is just a statue of a woman in her mid 60's sitting on a bench in downtown nappyville.
