Desert Flower

So tonight was the first time since moving up here that I missed Illinois College. Maybe it was from seeing Katie and Ali last night but it hit me when I left my apt. at midnight to buy a shower curtain. I had thrown my mildewy ripped one away earlier today and forgot to pick one up while out. So anyway, it hit me then cause midnight Sunday walmart trips scream IC. The late night trips w/ Rima were some of the funnest times. Goofy and exhausted from a weekend of drinking. Remembering stupid things people, and ourselves, did/said. Buying the oddest items. It was the first time I was sad about not having a roommate. Before grabbing the curtain at the store I stopped at the flower section and almost picked out a cactus to be my pseudo roommate but this is the week of bare necessities (except for Thursday night's hockey game and very mandatory t-shirt to display my Blackhawk inspired iron-ons). Plus, the out come of my geranium leads me to believe I should not use a plant to represent my new roommate. HA! I just saw the funniest comcast comercial ever. It was "comcastic". That made staying up so late absolutely worth it. ;)
